Abstract:
The present study aims to examine the effects of attitude towards behavior to purchase dietary supplement products, subjective norm ofbehavior to purchase dietary supplement products, and perception of ability to control behavior on determination to purchase dietary supplement products of undergraduate students at Burapha University, Chonburi Province.Sample group included 400 undergraduate students studying at Burapha University in academic year 2016. Multi-stage sampling technique was used to select the participants. A five-rating-scale questionnaire was an instrument of this study. Statistics used to analyze data with SPSS program included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, skewness, kurtosis, and multiple regression analysis. The findings showed that attitude towards behavior to purchase dietary supplement products, subjective norm of behavior to purchase dietary supplement products, and perception of ability to control behavior affected the determination to purchase dietary supplement products of undergraduate students at Burapha University, Chonburi Province at the significance level of 0.05. In summary, determination to purchase dietary supplement products was the main factor affecting decision of undergraduate students to purchase the products. Reinforcing factors were subjective norm of behavior to purchase dietary supplement products, attitude towards behavior to purchase dietary supplement products, and perception of ability to control behavior.
