Factors impacting behavior of good employees, A case study of employees at S & J Public Company Limited, Pinthong Industrial Estate 1, Chonburi Province
Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study the level of satisfaction regarding benefits by employees and level of behavior in terms of being a good employee of the organization and to study factors impacting being a good employee. The sample group consisted of 149 employees of S&J Public Company Limited, Pinthong Industrial Estate 1, Chonburi Province. A questionnaire was used to collect the data on personal factors, satisfaction regarding benefits and behavior in terms of being a good employee. Statistics used in testing the hypothesis including frequency, mean, standard deviation, F-test, One-way ANOVA and multiple linear regression analysis. From the research it was found that employees at the Company had a medium level of satisfaction regarding benefits. For each aspect it was found that all were at a medium level, with the first being health benefits followed by social and activities, and education respectively. Behavior in terms of being a good employee or member of the organization overall was high. When looking at each aspect, it was found that both were two were very high, namely participation and consideration of others. Three aspects were at a high level, responsibility to roles, patience and providing assistance. From testing the hypothesis on factors impacting being a good employee, it was found that personal factors did not have an impact on being a good member of the organization including age, level of education, marital status, monthly income, length of employment and position. Regarding satisfaction of the four aspects of benefits including healthcare, economy, social and activities and education did not have an impact on being a good employee of the organization.
