The Relationship between the Administrators Transformational Leadership Skills and their Academic Administration by Using Information Technology in the Secondary Schools of Phang-nga Province
Abstract:
The objectives of the research were: 1) to study the level of transformational leadership skills of the administrators of the secondary schools in Phang-nga, 2) to study the level of academic administration by using information technology of administrators of the secondary schools in Phang-nga 3) to look at the relationship between the administrators transformational leadership skills and academic administration by using information technology. The sample group consisted of 226 administrators and teachers in Phang-nga. Questionnaires with reliability level of 0.98 were used to collect the data. The statistics employed to analyse the collected data included S.D. and Pearsons Correlation analysis.
The results of the study revealed that:
1. The overall level of the administrators transformational skills of the schools was found to be high. The areas of transformation were ranked from highest to lowest as follows : idealized influence, inspiration motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration
2. The overall level of the administrators academic administration was found to be high. The areas of the learning organizations were ranked from highest to lowest as follows: assessment and evaluation, teaching and learning, media creating, and supervision.
3. The relationship between the administrators transformational skills and their academic administration was found to be highly positive at the significant level of 0.01.
