Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to examine the relationship between internal and
external factors affecting exported cassava products to Peoples Republic of China (PRC) and to
investigate the internal and external influential factors to exported cassava products to Peoples
Republic of China.
The secondary data including quantity of cassava products, internal and external factors
affecting quantity of exported product to Peoples Republic of China were used in this research. The
primary data were annually collected in time series from 2006-2015. The Multiple Regression
Models and Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) were used for data analysis.
It was found that the internal and external factors showed high affecting to exported
cassava products to Peoples Republic of China at 91.81% and currency exchange rate was the most
influential factor. If the currency exchange rate in US dollar increased, the currency exchange rate in
Thai baht would relatively decrease and this resulted in the increase of quantity of export cassava
products to Peoples Republic of China. In addition, the affecting factors of the cassava products
exported to Peoples Republic of China were the quantity of cassava products in Thailand, Chinese
GDP and quantity of Vietnam's cassava exports to Peoples Republic of China.
