Learning achievement on Civic Responsibility, cultural and Social life in Social study, religion and culture of Anuban Pribueng Pratomsuksa 4 students using Individualized instructional Package
Abstract:
The purposes of this study were; 1) to find the efficiency of individualized instructional package on Civics, Cultures and Living in Society for Prathomsuksa 4 students at Anuban Praibueng school, 2) to find learning effectiveness of Prathomsuksa 4 students at Anuabn Praibueng school, 3) to compare their learning achievement prior and post treatment by using the instructional package, and 4) to study their satisfaction in using the instuctional package. The population in this study consisted of 70 students of Prathomsuksa 4 at Anuban Praibueng school, in the second semester of an academic year 2012. Instruments in the study consisted of; learning management plans on Civics, Cultures and Living in Society, individualized instructional package on Civics, Cultures and Living in Society, an achievement test on Civics, Cultures and Living in Society, and a questionnaire for satisfaction on Civics, Cultures and Living in Society. Statistics used in analyzing data were; mean, percentage, Standard Deviation, and t-test.
The research results were as follows:
1. The average score of the instructional package on Civics, Cultures and Living in Society for Prathomsuksa 4 students, totally 5 volumes earned 59.14 points (82.14%). When classified by each volume found that it earned percentage between 80.7183.77. The percentage of the fifth volume earned the highest of 83.77, and the third volume earned the lowest of 80.47%. The instructional package earned the effective value as a whole of 82.14/81.80.
2. The results of Prathomsuksa 4 students learning had been increased by 66.33 percent after the treatment by using the instructional package on civics, cultures and living in society.
3. The learning achievement score of Prathomsuksa 4 students was higher than prior treatment statistically significance at .05 level.
4. The satisfaction of Prathomsuksa 4 students in using the instructional package on Civics, Cultures and Living in Society, as a whole was 4.24, which was at a high level. It was found that the students were satisfied with instructional media at the highest scale level of 4.60, but the satisfaction on assessment was the lowest scale level at 3.75. The most satisfaction of the students was item number 15: it had beautiful pictures (µ = 4.80). However, the least satisfaction was item number 20: teachers were awaiting to empower students by praising (µ = 3.60).
