Abstract:
The objectives of this research were 1) To develop the cartoon animation 2D story:
The treasure in the field: to meet the 80/80 standard criteria, 2) To compare the
academic achievement of the students who taught with the cartoon animation
2D story: The treasure in the field, 3) to study the students satisfaction with the
cartoon animation 2D story: The treasure in the field, The sample for the study,
consisted of 30 students of grade 9 attending Lankrabuewittaya School during the
first semester of the 2014 academic year. The instruments used in the study consisted
of 1) the cartoon animation 2D story: The treasure in the field 2) A learning
achievement test, 3) An evaluation form probing the efficiency of the cartoon
animation 2D story: The treasure in the field. The data analysis were percentage,
arithmetic means, standard deviations and a t-test. The findings of the study revealed
that 1) Cartoon animation 2D story: The treasure in the field achieved the efficiency
of 81.92/81.00 2) The students who were taught with the cartoon animation 2D story:
The treasure in the field showing higher learning achievement than those taught
with the conventional lessons at 0.05 level of statistical significance, and 3) the students
showed a very high level of satisfaction with the cartoon animation 2D story:
