Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to study tourism management in the three southern
provinces of Thailand; the objective is to 1) study management models 2) the development of ecotourism
3) study the capability of eco-tourism. This research uses mixed method by using
questionnaire and in-depth interview. The result shows that the majority of tourists in the southern
provinces are men average 25 years of age who are undergraduate students, monthly income of
9,281baht. Tourism management in three southern provinces in overall images is in high level. The
intense study inevery management model shows that tourists aware the important of tourism to the
economy, as the tourism management policy and legislation specified to build trust. The three
southern provinces must develop its tourists facilities and services, enforce marketing strategy
targeting students and using variation of technologies in advertising. Support and encourage Eco
tourism in the community, create opportunity for villagers to involve in planning and activities for
instance; junior guide, souvenir shop, and create package holiday for ecotourism.
