Abstract:
The main objective of the research study was to design of online digital classroom learning model through AAA model for improving the 21st century learning skills of undergraduate students. The research type was the Research and Development (R&D).
The research objectives were as follows: (1) to study and synthesize the conceptual framework of online digital classroom learning model through AAA model, (2) to design the learning model, (3) to develop the system following the model, (4) to study the usage of the system, and (5) to evaluate the system for approval. The samples of the study were 50 undergraduate students, the field of Computer Education in Muban Chombueng Rajabhat University. Arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and t-test were used to analyze the data.
The results of the research study were as follows:
The conceptual framework of the model consisted of three main component, which were: (1) the input consisted of four elements include (1.1) digital classroom, (1.2) AAA Model, (1.3) learning skills and (1.4) 21st century learning skills of information media and technology, (2) the process of instruction of five elements include (2.1) analysis by learner, (2.2) collaborative learning, (2.3) techniques jigsaw, (2.4) techniques games and (2.5) Assessments and (3) the output consisted five elements include (3.1) access and evaluate information, (3.2) use and manage Information, (3.3) analyze media, (3.4) create media products and (3.5) apply technology effectiveness.
The digital classroom online learning model through AAA model for improving the 21st century learning skills of undergraduate students consisted of three steps, which were: steps one, the analysis of teacher consisted of elements include (1) learners analysis, (2) content analysis, (3) context analysis, (4) devices analysis and (5) needs analysis, step two, the activities consisted of two part include (1) the teacher activity consisted of four element include (1.1) collaborative learning with jigsaw technical, (1.2) virtual classroom (1.3) social media and (1.4) games technic and (2) the learner activity consisted of 3 element include (2.1) learner activity to learner, (2.2) activity for learner and (2.3) assessment to learner and step three, the assessment consisted of five elements include (3.1) oral team technical, (3.2) Drill, (3.3) practice, (3.4) online testing and (3.5) assessment authentic. The results of model evaluation in terms of suitability by the experts showed that the model was very suitable, (x ̅ = 4.34, S.D. = 0.74).
The authentic assessment of the 21st Century learning skills in information, media, and technology of 50 students using four rubrics criteria were 82.7 percentage which was higher than a set criteria of 75 percentage at the significant level of .01.
The posttest of the students using the learning system was significantly higher than the pretest at the significant level of .01.
The opinions of the student toward the learning model were at the highest level of appropriateness, (x ̅ = 4.24, S.D. = 0.56).
The experts approved the model.
