Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study the professional characteristics of school administrators under Chanthaburi Primary Educational Service Area 2 and compare their opinions classified by their tenure and education level. The population included 108 administrators from 108 schools under the Chanthaburi Primary Educational Service Area 2. A 5-scale rating questionaire was used as an instrument with a reliability of 0.97. Statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, and Standard Deviation.
The research found that
1. The school administrators had opinions on profressional school administrator characteristics in an overall at a high level. Considering each aspect, it was also found high level in all aspects, as follows: a moral aspect, a personality aspect, an ability aspect, an experience and a success aspect, a vision aspect, and an administrative skill.
2. The school administrators who had differently experience in administration and education level had no differently opinions.
