Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to construct tests in order to verify the validity of the results of the intelligence measures based on Sternberg's Conceptual Framework.Random sample subjects of 1,25l Matayom Suksa 1 - 3 students were drawn from the whole population of 136,859 secondary schools students in the seventh Educational Region. The three models of Intelligence measures based on Sternberg's Conceptual Framework were employed to assess the three subtheories:Componential, Experiential and Contextual subtheories respectively. The results are as follows : 1.The constructed Intelligence tests are consistent with Sternberg's Conceptual Framework. 2.The results obtained from the Intelligence tests indicated that 2.1Positive and significant relationships (p < .001) were found between measures of the three subtheories. 2.2Relatively small, positive relationships were found between component of the Componential and the Experiential Subtheories. 2.3 The Matayom Suksa 2 and 3 students obtained higher intelligence test scores based on the Componential and Experiential Subtheories than Matayom Suksa 1 students (p <.OS). 2.4 The Matayom Suksa 2 and 3 students obtained higher intelligence test scores based on the Performance Component, Knowledge - Acquisition Components and the Ability to Automatize Processing Component than Matayom Suksa 1 students (p < .O5)
