Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to study the evolution of police personnel management and laws concerning police administration which include concepts, objectives and dismissal proceedings because of job performance, misconduct and stigma. The findings are as follows : dismissal measures pursuant to Police Act B.E. 2521 are inappropriate and laws with regard to this issue are confusing, especially discrepancies among Civil Service Act, Police Act and Police Discipline Act. These laws should be revised in order that police personnel management administered be efficiently.
