Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study and compare parents expectation towards early childhood operation of child development centers at Local Administrative Organization in Chanuman district, Amnatcharoen province, classified by gender, educational level, and occupation. The samples consisted 291 teachers by simple random sampling. This research instrument was a 5rating scale questionnaire which had discrimination between .48-.96 and .96 reliability. The data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and Least Significant Difference (LSD).
The research findings were as follows:
1. Parents expectation towards early childhood operation of child development centers at Local Administrative Organization in Chanuman district, Amnatcharoen province in every aspect was at a high level: the infrastructure, environment and safety; staff and administration; academic and curriculum activities, and cooperation and supporting from community, respectively.
2. Gender and occupation had influence on their expectation at .05 level of significance, but their education level had not.
