Abstract:
This research aimed to study the transformational leadership of administrators, effectiveness of the schools and compare school effectiveness which classified by personal status in order to search for the predictors, and the power of prediction of transformational leadership of administrators which affected to effectiveness of schools under Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. Data were collected from 427 samples including 115 administrators and 312 teachers. Two sections of questionnaires; transformational leadership and school effectiveness with their reliabilities of .982 and .984 were used for collecting data. Then, they were analyzed by using basic statistics which were means, standard deviation and the statistic tests were a t-test, one way analysis of variance (One-way ANOVA) and multiple regression analysis.
The results showed that transformational leadership of administrators and the school effectiveness were at average levels. However, the comparison of the school effectiveness tended to be different according to work experiences, and it also found that the 4 dimensions of administrators could predict the percentages of school effectiveness at 97.10 ranking from intelligence stimulation, inspiration encouragement, individual relationship and ideal influences respectively.
