Abstract:
The purposes of the research were to study the health behaviors of student at the certificate level in colleges under the Department of Vocational Education in the Central Region. The questionnaires were sent 500 third-year students, 285 males and 215 females. All questionnaires accounted for 96.2 percent were returned. The data were then analyzed to terms percentages. The results were as follows: 1. The positive health behaviors of students were as follows: having no sexual affair with the same sex (97.3%), consuming of fruits and vegetable (96.9%), having no abortion or leaving a partner aborted (96.6%), having no pregnancy or leaving a partner pregnancy (95.6%), toothbrushing at morning and night (94.6%), hand washing after using toilet (94.4%), unplugging electric supplies after being used (93.5%), no drug using (89.8%), no smoking (87.3%), following up of drug information (83.7%), drinking milk or consuming product from milk (77.1%), using a safety belt ( 70.0%), consuming five basic of group food (58.6%), using a helmet while riding a motorcycle (53.9 %). 2. The negative health behaviors of students were as follows: having conflict with family member (91.9%), consuming of soft drink (82.2%), having stressful problems (78.6%), riding a motorcycle (62.8%), consuming of tea or coffee (55.3%), consuming of alcohol (52.8%), disobeying stop sings (47.2%), consuming of high cholesterol (35.6%), changing their sexual partners (8.9%), having sex with prostitutes (5.0%).
