Abstract:
The objectives of this descriptive research were to study nutritionalstatus and health behaviors of personnel and to study the factors affected with nutritionalstatus. The population were 213. The data were collected by using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Chi-square.
The results revealed that the nearly a half of population were over nutritional status (45.1%), food consumption in poor level (71.8%), exercise (55.9%), mental in good level (80.3%), alcohol drinking (60.1%). showed that the factors affected statistically significant with nutritional status at 0.05 level were sex (p-value < 0.001), age (p-value = 0.004), disease (p-value < 0.001), alcohol drinking (p-value = 0.024) and smoking (p-value = 0.049).
Information obtained from this study will provide basic information for health professionals to develop guidelines. The problem of personel health behaviors and nutritional status was most appropriate.
