Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1) to develop the various news curriculum for enhancing critical thinking ability of Prathomsuksa 5 students at Wat Bangkhuntiennork school, 2) to compare the students critical thinking ability before and after the various news curriculum implementation, and 3) to study the students satisfactions towards studying after the various news curriculum implementation. The samples included Prathomsuksa 5 students of Wat Bangkhuntiennork school, Jomthong District, Chaiyaphum. The research samples included 90 students in the second semester of the academic year 2013. The research instruments were the critical thinking tests, and the satisfactions questionnaire. The data were statistically analyzed by using the mean, standard deviation, and t-test for dependent sample.
The research results revealed as follows:
1. The various news curriculum for Prathomsuksa 5 students at Wat Bangkhuntiennork school was at the very highest quality level. The curriculum had the complete components, and was suitable for instruction.
2. The students critical thinking ability after the various news curriculum implementation was higher at significance level .01
3. The students satisfactions towards learning activities through the various news curriculum for Prathomsuksa 5 students at Wat Bangkhuntiennork school was found at the highest level.
