Abstract:
This study aimed to examine the issue of Border pass inspection under the duty of the Police Immigration Mae Sai district, Chiang Rai province. Since the system E-Fingerprint have been used, the detection of transit has been more effective. The study a questionnaire to interview the improvement, the New Public Management approach. The interview includes an official of Person and Conveyance Inspection Section, police immigration Mae Sai, Mae Sai, Chiang Rai province, a total of 18 people, use a descriptive analysis of data in a logical approach relevant information to make conclusions and recommendation.
The results showed that problems in the Border pass inspection of police immigration Mae Sai district, Chiang Rai province. Is mostly about technological problem. All of the required data is stored in the centralized server (PIBICS) that delays the processing of inspection Moreover, most of the inspectors are new to the system and do not have the adequate skills to use the system as it should have been.
This bring to the conclusion and recommendation to increase the budget for upgrading the server systems as well as to provide the staff training.
