Abstract: โรคข้อเข่าเสื่อมเป็นสาเหตุของอาการปวดข้อเข่าที่พบได้บ่อยที่สุด และในปัจจุบัน มีการนำ Bio-magnetic Therapy มาใช้ในการรักษามากขึ้น เนื่องจากสามารถบรรเทาอากาปวด ต่อต้านการอักเสบได้ ผู้ป่วยไม่ได้รับภาวะแทรกซ้อนต่าง ๆ หรือ บาดเจ็บส่วนใด ผู้วิจัยจึงได้ศึกษาผลของการรักษาด้วยวิธีการ Bio-magnetic Therapy ร่วมกับการประเมินอาการเจ็บปวดในกลุ่มตัวอย่าง ชายและหญิงที่มีอาการปวดจากข้อเข่าเสื่อม อายุระหว่าง 50-80 ปี จำนวน 25 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ ได้แก่ เครื่องกำเนิดพลังงานแม่เหล็ก (Bio-magnetic) นีโอไดเนียมที่มีความเข้มข้นของสนามแม่เหล็ก 1500 gauss (g) และแบบประเมินความเจ็บปวดแบบให้คะแนนเป็นตัวเลข (Numeric Scores) ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ระดับความเจ็บปวดของการรักษาด้วย Bio-magnetic Therapy แต่ละครั้งมีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.001 (p < 0.001) กล่าวคือ ระดับความเจ็บปวดลดลงอย่างต่อเนื่องจากการวัดครั้งที่ 1 เท่ากับ 7.5±0.2 ครั้งที่ 2 เท่ากับ 5.4±0.2 และครั้งที่ 3 เท่ากับ 4.0±0.2 ตามลำดับ สรุปได้ว่าการรักษาอาการปวดเข่าด้วยวิธี Bio-magnetic Therapy นี้ สามารถบรรเทาอาการปวดให้ลดน้อยลงได้จริง

Abstract: Osteoarthritis is the most common cause of knee pain. In the present, Bio-magnetic Therapy is a method used in Osteoarthritis treatment more, since it can relieve pain and resist inflammation. Moreover, patients did not receive any injuries or complications. Researchers has studied the effects of treatment with the Bio-magnetic Therapy, together with an assessment of pain in a sample consisting of 25men and women who have pain from Osteoarthritis, aged between 50-80 years, The instrument of this study includes magnetic energy generator (Bio-magnetic), Neodymium magnet with a concentration of 1500 gauss (g) and the numerical assessment of pain (Numeric Scores). The study found pain level of each treatment with Bio-magnetic Therapy has a different significance level of 0.001 (p <0.001), that is, pain levels decreased continuously. The result of the first measurement was 7.5 ±. 0.2, and the second and third measurenents were 5.4 ± 0.2 and 4.0 ± 0.2, respectively. The study concluded that the treatment of knee pain with Bio-magnetic therapy can actually relieve knee pain.
