Abstract:
The objectives of the research were 1) to find study the efficiency of the computer-assisted instruction on basis of 80/80 criteria and 2) to compare the learning achievement before using the computer-assisted instruction of Saxophone in Music Program, Faculty of Art with that after using such an innovation. The sample included 12 of the first year students in the 1st semester, academic year 2011 from Songkhla Rajabhat University obtained through simple random sampling. The instruments consisted of CAI in the topic of Saxophone and a learning achievement test. Data were statistically analyzed using mean and t-test.
The findings revealed as follows:
1. The efficiency of the computer-assisted instruction of Saxophone in Music Program, Faculty of Art Songkhla Rajabhat University was reported at 84.00/80.55, which was higher than the criteria of 80/80.
2. The learning achievement of the sample after learning through the computer-assisted instruction was significantly higher at .01 level.
