Abstract: การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของการเสริมไขมันพืชในอาหาร ต่อสมรรถนะการเจริญเติบโต ระดับคอเลสเตอรอลในเลือด และระบบภูมิคุ้มกันในไก่เนื้อ โดยใช้ไก่เนื้อสายพันธุ์คอปป์ 500(Cobb 500) อายุ 1 วัน จำนวน 90 ตัว วางแผนการทดลองแบบสุ่มสมบูรณ์ (completely randomized design; CRD) แบ่งกลุ่มการทดลองเป็น 3 กลุ่มๆละ 3 ซ้ำๆละ 10ตัว ทำการเสริมน้ำมันจากพืช3 ชนิด คือ น้ำมันปาล์ม, น้ำมันถั่วเหลืองและ น้ำมันกระบกในอาหารไก่เนื้อเป็นระยะเวลา 42 วัน พบว่า ชนิดของน้ำมันพืชในอาหารมีผลต่อสมรรถภาพการเจริญเติบโตได้แก่ น้ำหนักตัว หนักตัวที่เพิ่มขึ้นFCR และดัชนีประสิทธิภาพการผลิตแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (P<0.05) โดยการเสริมน้ำมันกระบกมีสมรรถนะการเจริญเติบโตดีที่สุด รองลงมาคือน้ำมันถั่วเหลือง และน้ำมันปาล์ม ตามลำดับ เปอร์เซ็นต์ซากของไก่เนื้อกลุ่มเสริมน้ำมันกระบกมีสูงที่สุดและแตกต่างกันทางสถิติ (P<0.05)ปริมาณคอเลสเตอรอล และไตรกลีเซอไรด์ในเลือดไก่ไม่มีความแตกต่างกัน แต่มีผลต่อเม็ดเลือดขาวชนิดเฮทเทอโรฟิลล์ (H)ลิมโฟไซต์ (L)และอัตราส่วนของH/L แตกต่างกันทางสถิติ (P<0.05)ไก่เนื้อกลุ่มเสริมน้ำมันถั่วเหลืองมีค่า H/L สูงที่สุด รองลงมาคือ น้ำมันปาล์ม และน้ำมันกระบก งานทดลองครั้งนี้สรุปได้ว่าน้ำมันกระบกมีผลต่อสมรรถภาพการเจริญเติบโต และระบบภูมิคุ้มกันในไก่เนื้อ

Abstract: The objective of this study was to determine the effects of vegetable fat sources on growth performance, blood cholesterol and immune response in broilers.A total of 90 d-old male broiler chicks (Cobb 500), were divided into 3 treatment groups. The experiment was Completely Randomized Design (CRD).Each treatment consisted of three replicates of ten each. The treatments were supplemented with palm oil (T1), soybean oil (T2) and krabok oil (T3) in broiler diet during 42 days.Results indicated that supplementation of different types of vegetable fatsignificantly differences (P<0.05) affectbody weight, body weight gain, FCR and productive index (PI) of broilers.The highest live weight, PI and least FCR were found in Krabok oil supplemented group.Moreover, carcass percentagewas significant (P<0.05) improvedhighest in krabok oil treatment. The ration of heterophil and lymphocyte wassignificantly decreased (P<0.05) by krabok oil. However, levels of blood cholesterol, triglyceride were not significantly (P>0.05) between treatments.It was concluded that krabok oil supplement significantly increased growth performance and immune response as compared to palm and soybean oil supplements.
