Abstract:
The objective of this research project was to study the participation of subdistrict administration organizations in basic educational management of RoiEt Educational Service Area I and compare the perceptions of chief administrators of sub-district administrative organizations, subdistrict executive administrators and school administrators toward the participation of subdistrict administration organizations in basic educational management of RoiEt Educational Service Area I according to the status of respondents.
The sample for this study was 110 chief administrators of sub-district administrative organizations and sub-district executive administrators and 148 school administrators. The instruments used for collecting the data were questionnaires and an interview form. The data were analyzed using percentages, arithmetic means, standard deviations and t-test. Results of the study are as follows.
The participation of subdistrict administration organizations in basic educational management of RoiEt Educational Service Area I was at a moderate degree. When it was considered at individual perspectives the results also revealed moderate degrees ranging by the order of mean scores from high to low as follows : service and activity perspective, property perspective, other and academic perspective, respectively.
The results of comparing the perceptions of chief administrators of sub-district administrative organization, sub-district executive administrators and school administrators
toward the participation of subdistrict administration organizations in basic educational management of RoiEt Educational Service Area I revealed both general results and each perspective were different significantly at .05 level except for other perspectives which were not significantly different.
The suggestions of the chief administrators of sub-district administrative organization, subdistrict executive administrators and school administrators toward the participation of subdistrict administration organizations in basic educational management of Roi-Et Educational Service Area I are as follows : In property perspective, sub-district administrative organizations should allocate enough budget to support education, especially developing and constructing educational buildings or facilities sufficient for their education arrangement. In academic perspective, subdistrict administrative organizations and schools should cooperate on educational quality development, promote and encourage teachers to use research processes for developing their training activity. In services and activity perspective, sub-district administrative organizations and schools should plan and cooperate on service and activities development to make it clear and practical. In other perspectives, subdistrict administration organizations should fully support manpower requirements for inadequate schools and should have welfare arrangements for school personnel in order to build and maintain job satisfaction.
