Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to : 1) study the state and problems of school curriculum administration of secondary schools in Surin Province based on the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551; 2) compare the state and problems of school curriculum administration of secondary schools in Surin Province based on the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 by position and type of school curriculum ; 3) study guidelines to solutions of school curriculum administration of secondary schools in Surin Province based on the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551. The 273 samples consisted of administrators and heads of learning substance groups. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test independent sample.
The research findings were as follows:
The state of school curriculum administration of secondary schools in Surin Province based on the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 of administrators and heads of learning substance groups were, in total and in each perspective, at a high level. The highest aspects were Curricular Arrangement with Improvement. The problems of school curriculum administration of secondary schools in Surin Province based on the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 of administrators and heads of learning substance groups were, in total and in each perspective, at a low level. The highest aspects were curricular arrangement with improvement and carrying on the classroom.
A comparison of the state and problems of school curriculum administration of secondary schools in Surin Province based on the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 25511 by position found that administrators and heads of learning substance groups were, in total and in each perspective, stated and problems of administration curriculum indifferent opinions.
A comparison of the state and problems of school curriculum administration of secondary schools in Surin Province based on the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 by type of school curriculum found that available curriculum schools and general school were, in total and in each perspective, regarded differently in terms of administration curriculum. The problems of administration curriculum total in terms of different opinions. When considered by each perspective it was show that the carrying on the classroom and supporting the school entail different levels of problems. Concerning curricular arrangement with improvement and quality control of the school, there are indifferent levels of problems.
The guidelines of solutions for school curriculum administration of secondary schools in Surin Province based on the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 are as follows: train personal who are knowledgeable about the curriculum development. Teachers should plan design units of study in accordance with the course structure and curriculum. There should be budgetary support for materials and technology employed in teaching and learning. Planning of communication should be systematic and continuous.
