Abstract:
This research was aimed 1) to study the performance of duties of village
agricultural volunteers (VAV), 2) to search for factors which were important to the
performance of duties of village agricultural volunteers and 3) to create an equation to predict the performance of duties of village agricultural volunteers .The population was 2,444 village agricultural volunteers from 2,444 villages of 192
sub-districts in 20 districts of Roi Et province. The sample of this study consisted of 344 village agricultural volunteers. A research instrument employed for collecting
the data was questionnaires with a 5-point rating scale. Basic statistics; frequency, percentage and mean were used to analyze the data. Statistics for hypothesis testing was multiple regressions. The results showed that
1. The performance of duties of village agricultural volunteers in RoiEt province as an overall and specific aspects were at a high level. When considering each of the four aspects, it could be concluded that 1) the aspect of collection of village agricultural baseline data, it was found that the VAV implementing this function as an overall and as items of the aspect were at a high level, particularly the item of providing facilitation for farmers and officials. 2) the aspect of participating with village committee and related agencies to develop village agricultural plan, it was found that the VAV performing this duty as an overall and

Factor affecting the hallmark, it was fond social position, number of channels received information, and the use of knowledge gained from training were factors that affected the performance of duties of village agricultural volunteers in Roi-Et province with the prediction percentage of 18.4. The predicted equation could be written as shown below.
The predicted equation with factors affecting the performance of duties of the village agricultural volunteers in raw score form.
ý = 5.412 - .409 X7 + .059 X9 + .127 X10
The predicted equation with factors affecting the performance of duties of the village agricultural volunteer in standardized score form.
Zy = - .186 X7 + .131 X9 + .127 X10
Suggestion on developing and empowering the performance of duties of
agricultural village volunteers successfully were 1) relevant authorities needed to focus in the selection process of farmers to act as a village agricultural volunteer by the farmers were not considered persons with leadership positions in community
