Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to study the needs of the elderly to exercise in Amphoe
Mueang Nakhonnayok, Nakhonnayok Province and to study the management of the elderly to exercise
in Amphoe Mueang Nakhonnayok, Nakhonnayok. The findings of this survey design guidelines
methodology combined with quantitative and qualitative methods (Mixed method) to answer the
research questionusing in-depth interviews and questionnaires used to collect data. Analyzed using
quantitative data packages and analyzed using qualitative content analysis. Collected the data two
components into written is suggested to the agency the management side, the exercise of the elderly in
Amphoe Mueang Nakhonnayok, Nakhonnayok.
The study found that 1) the elderly need physical activities that fit physical condition are
walk runs (96.3 percent) and exercise activities (88.9 percent). The current state management agencies,
Muang Nakhonnayok a lack of diversity of activities for elderly, 2) The elderly need personnel have
knowledge the exercise first aid treatment (
= 3.82, SD = 0.38) and maintain security(
= 3.61,
SD = 0.54). The state of the current management personnel to oversee the physical activities. A
personnel agency, which did not have direct knowledge, 3) the elderly needaccessories the exercises are
safe and suitable for physical condition first aid facility at the area (
= 3.71,SD = 0.55) and needs to
provide appropriate exercise equipment (
= 3.77, SD = 0.80). The state of the current management
agency Muang Nakhonnayok. Have devices and places to exercise the combination of all the age groups
that are not specific to seniors, but only one group and 4) state management agencies within the current
budget, Muang Nakhonnayok has no direct plans. Exercise of the elderly is not in the strategic plan of
the organization.
Suggestion management1) should exercise activities to suit the needs and physical condition
of the elderly,2) should provide personnel with the ability to directly oversee physical activities for the
elderly,3) should the supply of equipment and exercise appropriate for the elderly and 4) should provide
adequate funding for the management of exercises for seniors.
