Abstract:
The purpose of this study was the effects of the survival swimming learning management for self drowning prevention of elementary school students. The sample group consisted of 10 students from Thainiyomsongkroa School. The sample group were assigned to study under the survival swimming for seven weeks, two days per week, one hour per day. The research instruments were composed of 14 lesson plans. It was found that the content validity was at 0.68 (IOC) and measures of self drowning prevention consist of 2 components as follow : (1) Self drowning prevention and swimming basic skill test (2) Water rescue test. It was found that the content validity was at 0.92 (IOC) and the data were analyzed by using mean, standard deviations, and a t-test of .05 significance. The result of this research was found the survival swimming learning management for self drowning prevention consist of 2 components as follow : (1) Self drowning prevention and swimming basic skill 10 test lists (2) Water rescue test 4 test lists. The scores of self-defense from drowning in the after experimental group was higher than before the experimental group of a difference of .05 significance.
