Abstract:
The purpose of the study was to study and compare the opinions concerning sex information between boy and girl students of the upper secondary school in the eastern region. Questionnaires were constructed and sent to 450 Muttayom Suksa six students who were randomized stratified selected from the secondary schools in the eastern region. The data were then analyzed interms of means, standard deviation, and the t-test. The results of the study were indicated as follows : 1. Boy students had positive opinions concerning sex information in six aspects which were how to behave to the opposite sex, partner choosing, marriage, family planning, sex hygiene, and other sex information. They had neutral opinions in two aspects which were male and female relationships and a sexual release. 2. Girl students had positive opinions concerning sex information in seven aspects which were male and female relationship, how to behave to the opposite sex, partner choosing, marriage, family planning, sex hygiene, and other sex information. They had neutral opinion on an aspect of sexual release. 3. There was statistical significant difference at .05 level between boys and girls opinions concerning sex information in six aspects which were sexual release, marriage, sex hygiene, family planning, and how to behave to the opposite sex. But there was no statistical significant difference at .05 level between boys and girls opinions in two aspects which were a partner choosing and other sex information.
