Abstract:
This study aimed to study and compare an environment in Bannayang school, Nayang subdistrict, Cha-am district, Phetchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, classified by gender, age, education, occupation, and monthly income in 5 aspects. The environment for the building; environmental sanitation, environmental health; environment for learning and teaching; environment of group friends: and environmental management. Population used in this study were 120 students parents of Bannayang school, Nayang subdistrict, Cha-am district, Phetchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 in an academic year 2012. Tools used to collect data was a 5-rating scale questionnaire. Statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, t-test, and One-way ANOVA.
The results showed that:
1. Students Parents had their opinions on the environment in Bannayang school in an overall was at the highest level. Considering each aspect, it was found that the highest mean was the building aspect (µ = 4.73), followed by the learning and teaching environment aspect (µ = 4.69). The lowest aspect was the environment management (µ = 4.09).
2. Comparing their opinions according to their gender, age, education, occupation, and monthly income, found no significantly difference either an overall or each aspect.
