Abstract:
The objectives of this research were: 1) to determine the levels of job satisfactions of teachers in secondary schools in Chonburi consortium 2, and 2) to compare job satisfactions of Teachers in secondary schools in Chonburi consortium 2 classified by genders, work experiences and school sizes. Samples were 169 tearchers in medium and large school sizes. A set of questionnaire was used for data collection. Percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, and t-test (t-test for Independent Sample) were used far data analyzed.
The research results were:
1. The job satisfactions of teacher in secondary schools in Chonburi consortium 2 as a whole was at most level. Considering each aspect, Mean of job characteristic was the highest, following with means of colleague relationship and job achievement respectively. Whereas mean of job growth was the least.
2. Male and female teachers had no different opinions on job satisfactions as a whole as well as each apect.
3. Teachers who had different work experiences had statistical significant difference at 0.5 levels in the aspect of job achievement, job growth, policies and administration functions. Whereas the other aspects had no difference.
4. Teachers who worked in medium and large school sizes as a whole had no different opinion on job satisfaction except the aspect of job characteristic was found statistical significant difference at 0.5 level.
