Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to investigate the influence of marketing mix decisions boutique hotel and to study behavior of international tourists and to compare opinions on marketing mix for selecting boutique hotel in Chiangmai. Four hundred subjects were international tourists responded to a survey tool through the quality of the tool. Data were analyzed statistically in term of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and one-way analysis of variance, and if differences were found, the differences in pair were later analyzed by LSD method. Results 1. The opinion of respondents on marketing mix of decisions making on selecting boutique hotels were ranked in high level in terms of product (mean = 4.06), price (mean = 4.05), promotion (mean = 3.77), people (mean = 4.23), process (mean = 4.06), physical evidence (mean = 3.65), except, place (mean = 3.29) was ranked in moderate level. 2. Respondents had traveled to Chiangmai for 1 - 2 times. Stay in Chiangmai 8 - 14 days. Their main purpose of visiting was traveling or leisure. They mostly traveled during holidays with family. The period of planning to travel to Chaingmai was 7months - 1year. Rate of accommodation was 50 100 USD. They knew the hotel via the internet and planed to travel and stay again. 3. Respondents of different genders and residential countries had different opinions on marketing mix decisions boutique hotel at the .05 statistically significance level.
