Abstract:
The purposes of this research was to study Supply Chain Management for Border Trade. Case study: Live swine exportation at Chiangsaen Customs House including others factors to effect on both negative and positive sides for Swine exportation. The researcher did study all the processes and also study both related governmental sectors and also private sectors. Because of Supply Chain Analysis which could allow to recognize the overall image of related sectors of Supply Chain Management for Live swine exportation. Moreover, the researcher did apply the factors from Five Forces Model of Michel E Porter to make the analysis the direct effects on Border Trade, by applying Five Forces Model with survey data in area at Livestock Control at Chiangsaen Customs House where is the importation area of this model to be analyzed the potentiality of supply chain for Qualitative Data to receive the opportunities, problems and trading obstacles. And for this the result of this research found that Live swine exportation could be grown from Border Trade benefits. However, if Supply Chain Management is not developed effectively, especially about price, cost, process management, low quality of unstandardized logistic management, problem of exchange and payment, unpredictable advanced supply chain and conditions of registrations of both related domestic and foreign sectors. But if the data center
would be hold by both private and governmental sectors and there is the Integration of working together, the growth rate of Swine exportation could be sustainable.
