Abstract:
This research aims to develop and test the psychometric of nurse anesthetist competency scale in Rajavithi Hospital. The study was divided into two phase. The 1st phase : The development of an appraisal form, which can be further divided into the following two steps: (1) to comprise a component and capacity list for nurse anesthetists by means of literature review and experts group discussion (2) to develop and test the validity of measurement by five experts and internal consistency showed Cronbachs alpha .99. The 2nd Phase : The quality test for an appraisal form , which was randomly selected from 35 anesthetist nurses 20 supervisors and sub supervisors. After that , the researchers carried out a precision test well as calculating the mean and standard deviation and the consistency among appraisal form oneself ,supervisor and sub supervisor and peers by applying intra class correlation coefficient. The results are follows: 1.nurse anesthetist competency assessment scale of Rajavithi Hospital comprised of 8 components 78 items and 8 components were identified: (1) the clinical anesthesia.(24 points) 2) the operating range of crisis advanced resuscitation.(8 points) 3) anesthesia management.(7 points). 4) the ability intervention.(7 points) 5) the use of equipment and medical technology.(8 points) 6) the use of information technology and communications.(8 points). 7) the use of evidence in nursing practice anesthesiology.(9 points). 8) the characteristics of the nurse anesthetist.(9 points) 2.The CVI = .93 , Cronbachs Alpha coefficient =.98, X = 3.98 - 4.09 The model can represent 0.97 correlation between the appraisal by oneself ,supervisor and sub supervisor and assessment by peers.
