Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study of the valuation for Thailand as a host country of FIFA Futsal World Cup 2012. Four hundred spectators responded to the survey. Data were analyzed statistically in terms of frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. Results 1. Major respondents were male between 20 - 35 years of age. Mostly, they were students. Their average income was less than 15,000 Baht a month. The respondents were the first timer at the game, but planned to attend the game for 2 or 3 times more. The main reason that they attended the FWC was because they liked futsal. The respondents felt that the ticket price was reasonable and believed that the cost of hosting the FWC for Thailand should be around 100 - 500 million baht. After all the respondents impressed with host and looked forward to attend the games in the future. 2. Respondents felt that being a host country of FIFA Futsal World Cup (FWC) 2012 had a high social value, but moderate economical and environmental values for Thailand.
