Abstract:
This research objectives were: to study the implementation on student counseling system of the counselors in schools under the Office of Surat Thani Educational Service Area 3 ; and to compare the implementation on student counseling system of the counselors in schools under the Office of Surat Thani Educational Service Area 3 which classified by school sizes and working experiences. The subjects consisted of 327 teachers working as counselors in schools under the Office of Surat Thani Educational Service Area 3 during the academic year 2010. The instrument with the reliability value of 0.96 was the 49 - item questionnaire with 5-level rating scale. SPSS for WINDOWS was used to analyze percentage, mean, standard deviation and F - test.
The results were as follows: both overall and separated implementation aspects on student counseling system of the counselors in schools under the Office of Surat Thani Educational Service Area 3 were found to be high. As viewed by separated aspects, they were found to be high; that is, the aspect of knowing the individuals was the highest, but transferring of the students was the lowest. The comparison results on the implementation student counseling system of the counselors in schools under the Office of Surat Thani Educational Service Area 3, which classified by school sizes and working experiences indicated that there were statistical differences at the significant level of 0.05 among the respondents working in different school sizes, whereas there were no differences in overall aspect among the counselors differing in working experiences. As viewed by separated aspects, it was found that the implementation student counseling system of the counselors in schools under the Office of Surat Thani Educational Service Area 3 was found to be done differently among the counselors different in working experiences on the aspect of transferring of the student at the statistically who were different level of 0.05.
