Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to develop of an Electronic Book for English Reading Skill of Matthayomsuksa II Students and compare the learning achievement between pretest and posttest of using an Electronic Book. The participants were 25 students of Matthayom Banthamneab School in the first semester of the academic year 2012 chosen by using the method of purposive sampling. The instruments of the research consisted of an Electronic Book WE LOVE SURATTHANI for English reading skill, and 30 items of Multiple choice question for achievement test. The statistical data analysis involved mean, standard deviation, and t-test for dependent samples.
The results of the research were as follows: The efficiency of an electronic book used in the study was 80.2/82.93, which was higher than the specified standard criteria of 80/80. The learning achievement after applying the an electronic book was increased significantly at 0.05 level.
