Abstract: The purpose of the study was analysis frequency kinds of English noun of common nouns and pronoun nouns on an online newspaper. This study used setting and materials in consisted the 40 news in seven levels from the website http://www.breakingnewsenglish.comwhich were used by the provider from the 13th of September 2013 to the 28th of February 2014. Categorizing noun focuses on common nouns and proper nouns, survey the using of noun for people, places, things and animals, the data collected from analyzed using frequency and percentage. The research findings were as follow: 1. The using of common nouns and proper nouns for people, places, things, and animals in the 40 news for Breakingnewsenglish.com totaled 487 words. 2. Using common nouns totals 307 words equaling 63.03% of the time. For people used 124words with 25.46%, things used 117 words with 24.02%, places used 57 words with 11.70%, and animals used 9 words with 1.85% respectively. 3. Using proper nouns totals 180 words equaling 37.58% of the time. For places used 84 words with 17.25%, people used 56 words with 11.50%, things used 38 words with 7.80%, and animals used 2 words with 0.41%respectively. 4.In conclusion, in Breaking news used common nouns more than proper nouns almost types, the most of percentages was common nouns on people used total 124 words with 25.46% and the least percentages was proper nouns for animals used total 2 words with 0.41%. การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีจุดประสงค์ เพื่อวิเคราะห์การใช้คานามในข่าวภาษาอังกฤษออนไลน์ โดยวิเคราะห์หน้าที่ของคาในประโยคเฉพาะคานาม จาแนกเป็นคานามทั่วไป และคานามเฉพาะ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในครั้งนี้คือ ข่าวอังกฤษออนไลน์ จานวน 40 ข่าว จากเจ็ดระดับในข่าวภาษาอังกฤษออนไลน์ คือ http://www.breakingnewsenglish.com ระหว่างวันที่ 13 กรกฎาคม 2013 ถึง วันที่ 14 กุมภาพันธ์ 2014 โดยใช้วิธีการสารวจคานามที่มีความหมายเกี่ยวกับ คน สถานที่ สิ่งของ และสัตว์ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ความถี่และค่าร้อยละ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า : 1.ข่าวภาษาอังกฤษออนไลน์ 40 ข่าวมีความถี่การใช้คานาม โดยจาแนกเป็นคานาม ทั่วไป และคานามเฉพาะ หมายถึง คน สถานที่ สิ่งของและสัตว์ จานวนทั้งสิ้น 487 คา 2.ความถี่การใช้คานามทั่วไป จานวน 307 คา คิดเป็นร้อยละ 63.03% จาแนกเป็น คานามเกี่ยวกับคน จานวน 124 คา คิดเป็นร้อยละ 25.46% สถานที่ จานวน 57 คา คิดเป็นร้อยละ 11.70% สิ่งของ จานวน 117 คา คิดเป็นร้อยละ 24.02% และสัตว์ จานวน 9 คา คิดเป็นร้อยละ 1.85% 3.ความถี่การใช้คานามเฉพาะ จานวน 180 คา คิดเป็นร้อยละ 37.58% จาแนกเป็นคานามเกี่ยวกับคน จานวน 56 คา คิดเป็นร้อยละ 11.50% สถานที่ จานวน 84 คา คิดเป็นร้อยละ 17.25% สิ่งของ จานวน 38 คา คิดเป็นร้อยละ 7.80% และสัตว์ จานวน 2 คา คิดเป็นร้อยละ 0.41%. 4.ข่าวภาษาอังกฤษออนไลน์ “Breakingnewsenglish.com” มีความถี่การใช้คานามทั่วไป เกี่ยวกับคนมากที่สุดจานวน 124 คา คิดเป็นร้อยละ 25.46% และมีความถี่การใช้น้อยที่สุด คือ การใช้คานามเฉพาะเกี่ยวกับสัตว์ จานวน 2 คา คิดเป็นร้อยละ 0.41%
