Abstract:
The purposes of this study were to study the states, problems, and solutions of youth Muay-Thai competition. The subjects of this study were divided to 2 groups. First, the direct concern of youth Muay-Thai competition group were the owner of boxing camp or boxing managers, Coaches and youth boxers. (73 people) Second, the indirect concern of youth Muay-Thai competition were the boxing promoters, judges, pressmen, specters, sport scientist and doctors. (91 people) Research tools used were the interviewed surveys and focus group Results1.The states of youth Muay-Thai competition were in overall good condition both direct and indirect concern of Muay-Thai competition groups. Also the mean of the states scores before, between and after the competition were in overall good condition. For each item found that the states before and after the competition were in overall good condition. For between the competition, the most of them were in good conditions accept the sportswear and accessories, the resolving in the game and the injury and first aids were at the moderately levels.2.The problems of youth Muay-Thai competition were almost in moderately conditions both groups. The mean of the problems scores before, between and after the competition were at moderately levels. The high level problems were the preparing of technics and tactics, the weight control and the purpose of the competition. For each item found that the problems of both groups mostly at the moderately levels. The highest score was the injury and first aids, then the resolving in the game and the sportswear and accessories respectively.3. The solutions of the present youth Muay-Thai competition form were should educate them the sports science knowledge to be used for the safety, should do the new version of the competition ; the art of self defense in Muay-Thai show and should do the national boxing standard to support youth and people to join widely.This study should be useful for all who concerned in youth Muay-Thai competition to develop and to improve the youth Muay-Thai competition
