The role of school administrators in applying local wisdom into instruction in primary schools under the office of Songkhla primary ecucational service area 2
Abstract:
This research aimed to 1) study teachers opinion on 4 roles of school administrators (curriculum preparing, evaluation and measurement, resources supporting, and learning environmental and resources management in the school) in applying local wisdom into instruction in primary schools under the office of Songkhla Primary Educational Service Area 2 from teachers opinion, 2) compare the role of the school administrators in applying local wisdom into instruction in primary schools divided by the subjects group and school size of the respondents, and 3) study the role of the school administrators in applying local wisdom into instruction in small-sized and medium-sized primary schools. 123 teachers were conducted by using questionnaires. The statistics used to analyze data composed of frequency, percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, and t-test. For open questions were analyzed by content analysis to be group and conclusion
The results revealed that:
1. The school administrators roles in applying local wisdom into instruction in primary schools, office of Songkhla Primary Educational Service Area 2 generally and each aspect were at a high level.
2. Different subject teaching group was not caused to significantly different opinion on the role of school administrators in applying local wisdom into the instruction in the primary schools at .05 level.
3. The role of school administrators in the use of local wisdom in the instruction in medium-sized and small-sized primary schools, the study found that small-sized school administrators are aware in applying the local wisdom in the instruction higher than the medium-sized school administrators.
