Abstract:
The purposes of this thesis were to study and to compare the conflict management behavior of private secondary schools administrators in Wattana district, Bangkok. The sample consisted of 228 teachers private secondary schools in Wattana district, Bangkok. Rating scale questionnaires were used to collect data. The statistics used for analyzing the collected data were percentage, arithmetic means (x), standard deviation (S.D.), Z-test and F-test.
The findings were as follows:
1) The conflict management behavior of private secondary schools administrators in Wattana, Bangkok in overall and in each method was at a high level. Factors considered were collaboration, compromise, accommodation, avoiding, and competition respectively.
2) Comparing the level of teachers' opinions on conflict management behavior of administrators of private secondary schools in Wattana district, Bangkok according to genders, both in overall and in each method was significantly different at statistic level of .05 in 2 methods, which were competition and collaboration. According to the level of education, the overall was significantly different at statistic level of .05. Considering each method was significantly different at statistic level of .05 in compromise, but other methods were not different. According to experience, overall this was significantly different at static level of .05 in 4 methods, which were competition, collaboration, compromise and accommodation, but another method was not different
