Abstract:
The study of media exposure of consumers affecting purchase decisions on sunscreen Mueang District, Sakon Nakhon Province. The objectives of this study were to study the exposure of consumers and to investigate the factors affecting to purchase decisions on sunscreen of consumers. The data was collected by using questionnaire from 400 respondents. The study found that the majority are females (75.8 percent) were aged between 31-35 years accounted for 35.5 percent, bachelor's degree (48.5 percent) working people (40.3 percent) mostly monthly income over 40,001 Baht (31.3 per cent) and mostly single (45.0 percent) For analyzing purchasing behavior sunscreen, the data found that most of the respondent was purchased sunscreen products 1-2 times per month, the cost of buying skin care products was less than 500 Baht per month and the respondent preferred product discounted for the advertising. Moreover, the data presented that customers got the information about face sunscreen from the Internet and most respondents selected sunscreen product based on their interests. The hypothesis testing found that gender, age, marital status affects to the purchase decision on facial sunscreen. Media exposure was the important factor affecting significantly to decision on facial sunscreen within the frequency of buying facial sunscreen and the cost of buying facial sunscreen.
