Abstract:
The research was survey research. The purposes of this study were to find relationships between sexual knowledge, sexual value, and sexual risk behaviors of college students in Bangkok and to compare sexual knowledge, sexual value, and sexual risk behaviors by sex and school. A multi-stage random sampling method was used in this study. There were 480 subjects, 240 were male and 240 were female. The data were collected by using questionnaire which was created by the researcher. The questionnaire was tested for content validity by 3 expert panel judges and was found that item of objective congruent (IOC) was 0.83 and reliability was 0.79.The data were analyzed by using average, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test. The statistically significant difference was found by using the Schaffer method and Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient (P < 0.05).The findings revealed as follows:1. There were significant relationships between sexual knowledge and sexual value and between sexual value and sexual risk behavior at .05 level.2. The college students in Bangkok had overall sexual knowledge in moderate level (X ̅ = 13.78), sexual value in moderate level (X ̅ = 3.53),sexual risk behavior in moderate level (X ̅ = 3.65)3. There were no significant differences in sexual knowledge, sexual value, and sexual risk behaviors between male and female college students in Bangkok.4. There were no significant differences in sexual knowledge, sexual value, and sexual risk behaviors in male and female college students in Bangkok between schools.The college students in Bangkok had sexual knowledge , sexual value , and sexual risk behavior in moderate level. Therefore, teaching sexual knowledge and promoting sexual value to college students is very important
