Abstract: This paper has a purpose to analyze legal terms, sentences, and the relevant matters for scripts writing on the screenplay courtroom scenes. The analysis based on the datas of real transcript of Orenthal James Simpson and the fictional scripts of The Verdict, Body of Evidence, and Philadelphia. These materials are obtained from the internet. The findings of this paper provide for basic legal terms used in the screenplay and real legal language used in the real transcript.This study would be beneficial and useful for people who are interested in legal language. It also would be helpful for people to gain basic knowledge on the terms used, sentences, and the matters for writing scripts. It also recommended for further studying on the in-dept related subject.
