Quality Assurance Process in The School to Support The External Assessment of Schools Under The Taluban Municipality, Saiburi District, Pattani Province
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study the ideas and opinions, and to compare the level of the relevant information concerning the internal quality assurance process to support the external assessment of schools under the Taluban Municipallity, Saiburi district, Pattani province, on five aspects: education and preparation, planning of quality assurance, operating of quality assurance plan, auditing and reviewing of the quality of education, and developing and improving the quality of education. This survey research was conducted with a population of school administrators, teachers and school board members of schools under the Taluban Municipality, Saiburi district, Pattani province, totally 150 people. The results were analyzed by a computer program package for statistical data processing in order to analyze the descriptive statistics: frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The research results showed as follows:
1. The population of the school administrators, teachers, and school board members, mostly female, aged between 41-50 years old, roles as teachers, school board, and school administrators, and the elementary schools more than secondary schools.
2. An implementation of the quality assurance within the schools in order to support an external assurance was in a moderate level. Considering each aspect, it was found that the auditoring and reviewing of the quality of education aspect, and the planning of the quality assurance aspect were at a high level, but the developing and improving the quality of education aspect, the operating of the quality assurance plan aspect, and the education and preparation aspect were at a moderate level, respectively.
