Abstract: การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาปัจจัยในการตัดสินใจส่งบุตรหลานเข้าเรียนในโรงเรียนเอกชนของผู้ปกครอง 2) เปรียบเทียบปัจจัยในการตัดสินใจส่งบุตรหลานเข้าเรียนในโรงเรียนเอกชนของผู้ปกครอง โดยจำแนกตามอาชีพ ระดับการศึกษา และรายได้ของผู้ปกครอง กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ปกครองนักเรียนโรงเรียนเอกชนในเขตเทศบาลเมืองเพชรบุรี ระดับชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2553 จำนวน 498 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย เป็นแบบสอบถามมาตราส่วนประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ทดสอบสมมติฐาน ใช้สถิติทดสอบเอฟ การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว และทดสอบรายคู่โดยวิธีของเชฟเฟ่ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. ปัจจัยในการตัดสินใจส่งบุตรหลานเข้าเรียนในโรงเรียนเอกชนของผู้ปกครอง โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมากทุกด้าน เรียงจากมากไปน้อย คือ ด้านบุคลากร ด้านการบริการ ด้านภาพลักษณ์ของโรงเรียน ด้านการจัดการเรียนการสอน ด้านอาคารสถานที่และสิ่งแวดล้อม และด้านค่าธรรมเนียมการเรียน ตามลำดับ 2. การเปรียบเทียบ ปัจจัยในการตัดสินใจส่งบุตรหลานเข้าเรียนในโรงเรียนเอกชนของผู้ปกครอง จำแนกตามอาชีพ โดยรวมแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 เมื่อเปรียบเทียบเป็นรายด้าน พบว่า ผู้ปกครองที่มีอาชีพต่างกัน มีความคิดเห็นแตกต่างกันในด้าน 1. การจัดการเรียนการสอน 2. บุคลากร 3. ค่าธรรมเนียมการเรียน 4. การบริการ และ 5. ภาพลักษณ์ของโรงเรียน ส่วนด้านอาคารสถานที่และสิ่งแวดล้อมไม่แตกต่างกัน การเปรียบเทียบปัจจัยในการตัดสินใจส่งบุตรหลานเข้าเรียนในโรงเรียนเอกชนของผู้ปกครอง จำแนกตามการศึกษา โดยรวมแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 เมื่อเปรียบเทียบเป็นรายด้าน พบว่า ผู้ปกครองที่มีการศึกษาต่างกัน มีความคิดเห็นแตกต่างกันในด้าน 1. บุคลากร 2. ค่าธรรมเนียมการเรียน 3. การบริการ และ 4. ภาพลักษณ์ของโรงเรียน ส่วนด้านการจัดการเรียนการสอน และด้านอาคารสถานที่และสิ่งแวดล้อมไม่แตกต่างกัน การเปรียบเทียบ ปัจจัยในการตัดสินใจส่งบุตรหลานเข้าเรียนในโรงเรียนเอกชนของผู้ปกครอง จำแนกตามรายได้ โดยรวมแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 เมื่อเปรียบเทียบเป็นรายด้าน พบว่า ผู้ปกครองที่มีรายได้ต่างกันมีการตัดสินใจส่งบุตรหลานเข้าเรียนแตกต่างกันในด้าน 1. บุคลากร 2. ค่าธรรมเนียมการเรียน 3. อาคารสถานที่และสิ่งแวดล้อม 4. การบริการ และ 5. ภาพลักษณ์ของโรงเรียน ส่วนด้านการจัดการเรียนการสอน ไม่แตกต่างกัน The purposes of this research were : 1) to investigate factors affecting parents’ decision-making in Sending Entrance Their Children to Private School. 2) compare the opinions on factors affecting parents’ decision-making in Sending Entrance Their Children to Private School in Muang Phetchaburi Municipality, classified by occupation, education and income The sample consisted of 498 parents from Pratom 1 of Private School in Muang Phetchaburi Municipality in academic year 2010. The research tool for collecting was a 5 level-scale questionnaire. The data were analyzed to determine frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, F-test and One-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was applied for testing the hypotheses. The findings revealed that: 1. The overall Factors that Affecting Parents’ Decision-Making in Sending Entrance Their Children to Private School. rated high. The respective order of the rating were Personnel department, Service, Image of school, Learning proceeds, Building and the environment and Fees. 2.
