ACTIVITIES TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT AND LEARNING OF YOUNG CHILDREN OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATIONS IN SI SONGKHRAM DISTRICT, NAKHON PHANOM PROVINCE
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were (1) to study problems and obstacles on the
implementation of activities to promote the development and learning of young children of Local Government Organizations in Si Songkhram district, Nakhon Phanom province, (2) to compare activities to promote the development and learning of young children of Local Government Organizations in Si Songkhram district, Nakhon Phanom province classified by status and affiliation. The samples were 186 people included 42 heads of Childhood Development Centers and 144 childhood caretaker teachers which selected by Stratified Random Sampling and the sample size was determined by using the table of Krejcie and Morgan. The instrument for collecting data was a five-rating scale questionnaire with the discrimination power between 0.31- 0.69 and the reliability coefficient of 0.96. The statistics employed in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Two-way ANOVA.
The results of the research were as follows: (1) The implementation of activities to promote the development and learning of young children of Local Government Organizations in Si Songkhram district, Nakhon Phanom province in both overall and individual aspects were at the intermediate level. (2) The comparison of activities that promoting the development and learning of young children of Local Government Organizations in Si Songkhram district, Nakhon Phanom province found those of the different status of heads of Childhood Development Centers and childhood caretaker teachers were significantly different at the .01 level in overall aspects. Those of the different affiliation of administrators and teachers were not different in overall aspects.
