STUDY THE ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS BASED ON TEACHERS OPINIONS OF BASIC EDUCATION IN THAT PHANOM DISTRICT, NAKHON PHANOM PROVINCE
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to investigate and compare the administrative skills of school administrators based on teachers opinions in That Phanom district, Nakhon Phanom province classified by school sizes and school types. The samples were 183 teachers in schools of basic education in That Phanom district, Nakhon Phanom province and determined the sample size by comparing from Krejcie and Morgans table and derived by Stratified Random Sampling. The instrument used for gathering data was a five rating scale questionnaire with the discrimination power between .25 - .74 and the reliability coefficient of 0.98.The statistics employed in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test (Independent Samples) and F-test (One- way ANOVA). The results of the research were as follows: The administrative skills of school administrators based on teachers opinions in That Phanom district, Nakhon Phanom province, in overall aspects were at the high level. The comparison results of administrative skills of school administrators based on teachers opinions of basic education in That Phanom district, Nakhon Phanom province classified by school types and school sizes, in overall aspects were significantly different at the .01 level.
