Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study and compare the administration of school administrators under the office of Roi-Et Educational Service Area Office 2 based on the principles of good governance. The sample subjects were 189 school administrators, who were selected by the stratified random sampling technique in accorjance with the Krejcie and Morgan table. The data was collected by a rating-scale questionnaire with a reliability value, and of. 97 was analyzed by a computer program. The research statistics were percentage, mean, standard deviation and
t-test.
Results of the research
1. According to the data, it was found that the average level of administration based on the principles of t good governance was high. The highest level pertained to participation, and the average level pertained to legal and moral principles. The lowest level pertained to transparency. In regard to the size of schools, it was found that the average level of the administration of small schools based on the principles of the good governance was moderate. The highest level of the administration pertained to participation, the average level pertained to legal rules and moral principles while the lowest level pertained to the worthiness of the administration. The average level of the administration regarding the large-size schools was very high. The three highest levels pertained to legal principle, responsibility and worthiness of the administration while a high level pertained to moral principle, transparency and participation.
2. In regard to comparison of administrations, the level of the administration between small size schools and large-size schools was significantly different at the 0.05 level. To wit, the level of the administration of the large-size schools was higher than that of the small-size schools.
3. In conclusion, school administration factors suggested that the operation plan should be clear. The administration should be a good model for its colleagues. The results and consequences of the administration should be transparent to colleagues and the public. Participatory principles should be applied to the administration of the organization. The annual report of the administration should be transparent to their colleagues and the general public. Resources should be developed and used efficiently.
