Abstract:
The objectives of this study were 1) study of demographic factors of officers working in Revenue Office in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, 2) study the working factors of officers working in Revenue Office in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, 3) determine the correlation between demographic factors and organizational commitment, and 4) determine the correlation between working factors and organizational commitment. The samples of the study were 160 officers working in Revenue Office in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Data were analyzed by statistical software using statistical techniques of frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The relationship among study variables was analyzed using T test, One Way ANOVA and Multiple Regression Analysis at significant level of 0.05.
The results showed that the officers who have different age, education level, marriage status and working time have no different on their affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment. For gender factor, officers with different gender have their affective commitment in a different way but have their continuance commitment and normative commitment in the same way. For working factor, it was found that job responsibility was correlated to affective commitment. Income and welfare had no relationship to all three aspects of organizational commitments. Additionally, career path was correlated to all three aspects of organizational commitments. Relationship with colleagues was correlated to affective and normative commitments whereas working environment was only correlated to continuance commitment.
