Abstract:
The independent study was carried out to investigate the ethics on internet usage among the high school students of Suankularbwittayalai Rangsit School. The questionnaire was used as the data gathering instrument. The statistics used for data analysis comprised Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, Independent Samples t-test, One-Way ANOVA, and Least Significant Differences (LSD).
The results of the study demonstrated that most respondents were female (54.75%), were studying in Mathayom 4 (24.50%), the monthly expenses supported by their parents was more than 2,500 Baht (33.75%). According to the internet usage behavior, the study showed that the internet was used 2-3 hours per day (51.50), the frequent viewing website was Google (29.60), the students used the internet for entertainment (72.75%), and the internet was used between 18.00-20.00 hours (75.50%). The hypothesis test performed at 0.05 level of significance on the internet usage behavior classified by age on the possession aspect showed significance at 0.036, while classified by monthly expenses supported by parents on the privacy aspect, the study indicated significance at 0.017.
