Utilization of Skills Training Module for English Vocabulary Knowledge Development of Muttayom Suksa 3 Students, Wangnua Wittaya School, Lumpang Province
Abstract:
The purposes of this study were to 1) construct and examine the efficiency of the Adverb of Frequency and Adjective exercises according to the standard criteria 80/80, 2) compare the achievement between pretest and posttest after using the exercises and 3) study students satisfaction toward the exercises. The samples were Muttayom Suksa 3 students at Wangnua Wittaya school selected by purposive sampling. The research instruments were 1) lesson plans, 2) pretest and posttest, 3) exercises of Adverb of frequency and Adjectives, 4) the satisfaction assessment of Muttayom Suksa 3 students to the created exercises. The data was analyzed by means of descriptive statistics, percentage, mean (x̄), the standard deviation (S.D.), T-test, and the efficiency of the learning (E1/E2). Results indicated that 1) the efficiency of the exercises was at 82.3/80.1 in theoretical achievement which was higher than the criteria set at 80/80, 2) students learning achievement after using the exercises showed the difference between the means of the pretest and posttest was significant at 0.05, 3) the average score of students contentment to the exercises was at a high level (4.24) overall."
