Abstract:
This research aims to study the growth rate, survival rate and feed conversion ratio of Anabas testudineus. They were supplemented different additives including, commercial fish feed 32 percentage of protein(control), probiotic with commercial fish feed 32 percentage of protein and effective microorganisms (EM) with commercial fish feed 32 percentage of protein. The experimental were completely randomized design (CRD). They were 3 sets of experiments, each treatment has 3 replications. The initial fish were an average weight of 0.29 g into 5 x 5 x 1.5 m. Total of samples were 750 fishes per cage and raised a 90-days. Fishes samples were collected every 15 days. The results showed that average weight gain, average length and average daily weight gain non significant statistically. The end of the trial were average weight gain of 26.81±4.97, 30.47±2.55 and 28.11±7.52 g, average length of 7.83±0.73, 8.20±0.27 and 8.02±0.37 cm average weight 10.13±0.81, 13.30±0.29 and 10.06±2.66 kg and average daily weight gain of 28.77±4.98, 30.43±2.55, and 28.08±3.64 percentage respectively. The experiments of feed conversion ratio and survival rates were significant statistically. The feed conversion ratio of the experiments were 1.34±0.08, 1.10±0.07 and 1.22±0.07 and the survival rate were 55.55±6.57, 68.08±3.62 and 48.97±11.01 percentage respectively. The conclusion of this study was growth rates of climbing perch, Anabas testudineus by supplemented different feedings. The probiotic with commercial fish feed 32 percentage of protein was more affected feed conversion ratio and survival rate.
